The medium is matte board and the paint acrylic.
This painting is still a work in progress. Already over 100 hours have gone into the detailing. It is currently part-way through stage 2. This piece is already showing three dimensional qualities. Not bad for a work in progress on a two-dimensional surface.
Ravenous has sometimes been known to say "Oh my gods! What was I thinking" - in reference to starting this piece. His visions tend to throw him into huge projects.
This piece was started in August 2008 and hopefully will be completed in another four to five months.
